Hundreds of immigrant minors flock to the states and your heart strings tug. But whats behind door number two?
Are illegal immigrants and open borders proposing a great threat to our society and way of life? It depends on who you ask? Some scream to open the borders. Others quietly look the other way and ignore the statistics. Many think a failure to protect our borders is a recipe for disaster. But one thing is for sure and that’s that there has always been a dark connection between illegal immigration and crime. Mexico however is more than just a gateway for illegals, its a triple threat.
Its not just the bodies that cross our border. As gang activity throughout Mexico is running wild and we also get an influx of illegal drugs and guns along with our southern illegals. Our borders to the south create multiple problems not only in relation to crime but also as a drain on our already failing economy. Some may argue that eventually they may work and play positive roles in society. Well not only are they fighting for jobs we don’t have but also for the same entitlement cash (think welfare) that we STRIP from an already taxed working class. And my god the money it takes to detain and deport them! For the present and during this article I would much rather focus on something we can all see for black and white… Crime. We can’t argue or skew criminal statistics so lets get right to it.
Now crime has always been around and it’s always been bigger in large cities. You cant just cram millions of people in one city and not expect crime. However when millions and millions of young men (and women) come to this country illegally what is going to happen? Even if they were upstanding citizens there are no jobs here for them. Maybe Obama missed the memo but the middle class is dead as a growing number of the middle class has been out of work for ages and since forced to join the ranks of the welfare armies across America. So whats here for illegal aliens? Probably what many of them came over with to begin with. Gangs and of course drugs. Gangs offer more of a structured support system and feeling of “belonging” than they could ever have hoped to get anywhere else, including the home they were born into. And with gangs we get the crime.
Has anyone ever heard of releasing a criminal back into society for no apparent reason? Well if you are in illegal immigrant detained here in the United States you may get a free get out of jail card. Brietbart has reported that 36,000 convicted criminal illegal immigrants were released back into the US by immigration officials in 2013. These numbers are not limited to the almost 200 murderers that were released along with the lot. 200 murderers. Released. How is this OK? These figures were cited directly from a report by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS). Apparently the imigrants were being proccessed for deportation when they were simply let go. ICE had the ability to hold this criminals in detention “but released them anyway” as mentioned by a report from the Washington Times. We have Amerians rotting in prison as we speak for white collar crimes less heinous than many immigration has pardoned. What gives? What are they going to do once released back into society? Donate thier time own at the old folks home?
That report boasted that the mentioned 36k criminals released were convicted of a grand total of 88,000 crimes. Out of this 193 were homocides, 303 kidnapings, 426 sexual assults, 1,317 domestic violence assults and 1,724 weapon charges! These numbers are staggering. More staggering yet is the fact that every single crime, all 88,000 could have been eliminated if we had simply secured our borders to the south. Scarier still is to think that these numbers are only from 2013.
Presently in Texas Rick Perry is fighting this battle to the best of his ability. Why? According to Perry’s office more than 203,000 criminal illegal aliens have been booked into Texas county jails since 2008. These numbers manifested into individuals responsible for more than 640,000 crimes in the state of Texas alone. These numbers include more than 3,000 homicides and almost 8,000 sexual assaults. More staggering yet is the fact that every single crime, all 640,000 (including 3,000 homicides) could have been eliminated if we had simply secured our borders to the south. I think I may have said this once or twice before.
Because the federal government has completely failed at securing the border the states National Guard troops will aid the Texas Department of public safety’S (DPS) “Operation Strong Safety“.
Right before Rick Perry mentioned the National Guard troops hitting our border Texas senator Dan Patrick said there are at least 100,000 illegal gang immigrants in the state of Texas alone. He said from 2008 to 2012, 143,000 illegal immigrant criminals were arrested and jailed in Texas alone. He said these were “hardened criminals, gang members, and other criminals that we identified as being in Texas illegally.”
“We charged them with 447,000 crimes, a half-million crimes in four years, just in Texas, including over 5,000 rapes and 2,000 murders,” Patrick said. “We estimate we have 100,000 gang members here illegally.”
Texas has quite the problem on their hands. The number of illegal immigrants that flood into Texas each month is greater than the number of babies born in that state as natural born citizens. Can we say epidemic? With this flood and lack of border protection comes more crime and more gang activity. But in all reality gang violence and deaths related to gang violence and various criminal activity are a much greater problem than what we have in the great state of Texas. Greater problem is actually an understatement. Its a war zone and its all over the nation. For example the shooting deaths in Chicago alone in 2012 totaled higher than all the Allied forces combined that were lost in the Afghanistan war in 2012. That’s pretty scary. So far in 2014 our murder totals in Chicago have reached 216 and its only July! Most in part to gang activity. So why do we continue to open the flood gates to illegals who can bring nothing to the table, only have a hand out when so many of us can barely fend for ourselves? Your guess is as good as mine. One thing is clear though… with them comes crime that could easily be prevented if only we implement some sort proactive of control against illegal immigration.
