I’m sure the biggest regret most people will have made when (not if but when) the economy implodes is that you did not have
a proper amount of food in your cache to cover the time it takes for the nation and its people to heal. I don’t have enough myself. I hope to and its going to be a work in progress for the rest of my new way of life. I am going to be pushing prepping for some time, not so much for the people who do prep, but for those that don’t to hop aboard.
If you have been waiting for the right time, that extra check, or your holiday bonus to start your food cache… stop that line of thinking right this instant. Look at this photo and the others attached. These people are starving for food and mobbing over one another for scraps. This can happen to you. In fact we are on course for it. This is not a 3rd world country or a place hardened by disaster or war. This is Greece. A country included in NATO! This is what happens when debt rears its ugly head in conjunction with an economic holocaust through European Unions.
Greece debt to GDP is at 160% That number means that they owe 60% more than their country is worth, or in other words what it’s economy produces. Scary? Well the USA debt to GDP is at around 110%. Yeah we are not that far behind and we produce more debt than good. The only reason why we have not imploded yet is because some other countries believe that the US dollar has some value. Did I mention Russia and China horde gold? As soon as other countries turn their backs on the US dollar we are screwed. But here we are worrying about Travon Martin instead. Welcome to Greece… I mean the USA.
How would you feel if this happened almost overnight? How would you feed your family? You wouldn’t. Now is the best time to start bulking up your food cache. Canned goods sound great but push the envelope bit further and start buying long term freeze-dried dehydrated meals. These are expensive and not everyone can afford to splurge… but buying a few meals here or there is the right thing to do. If times get tough it might mean the difference between feeding your family or fending through a mob of people for a chance at some hand outs. Stock up now. Do not hesitate.
