New Hampshire reverts to the 2nd Amendment (Statewide constitutional carry)

Liberty is starting to ring as New Hampshire reverts back to the 2nd amendment. Constitutional carry. No permits, no fees, no regulation. The 2nd Amendment now permits all residents of that wonderful state to carry with one in the chamber based on the laws on the books by our founding fathers. This makes 12 states with the right to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

The Concord Monitor reported,

Under the new law, anyone who can legally possess a gun under state and federal law can carry it concealed in a purse, car or briefcase without a license.

State statute bars convicted felons or people subject to restraining orders from possessing a gun. Under federal law, drug users, fugitives and people convicted of certain domestic violence crimes, among others, cannot have firearms.

The state’s licensing process will remain in place so people who want to carry concealed outside state lines can get the necessary paperwork. Nonresidents who wish to carry concealed guns in New Hampshire would no longer need to get a license from state police, according to the bill’s fiscal note. The new law took effect immediately.

New Hampshire follows a number of other states that have recently eliminated licensing requirements, including Idaho, Mississippi and neighboring Maine.

Great news.
There are around 20 other states that have proposed legislation for full constitutional carry. Problem being the anti-gun lobbyist vigorously defend the opposite stance, against constitutional carry. Even some of the liberal law enforcement agencies are teaming up with lobbyist.

They argue that law enforcement can not track the weapons that fall into the wrong hands. We argue that a armed society is a polite one, and that no matter what, criminals will always, until the end of time, illegally obtain firearms. Time to shift the scales.

Fighting the liberal lunacy is an uphill battle but it looks like justice is starting to prevail. This is a wonderful move and we can only hope other states over the nation take notice and move towards what our founding fathers originally envisioned.
