We’re not victims: Daughter and mom smoke armed thug with their handguns.
Video at the bottom of the article.
Forest Acres liquor in Tulsa, Oklahoma had an eventful night on February 22nd. According to A.B.C. News affiliate K.T.U.L., a suspect later identified by police as Tyrone Lee entered the store brandishing a shotgun and demanding money from the owners daughter who happened to be working behind the register. Poor Tyrone gambled wrong if he thought that night would render him easy prey.
Surveillance footage shows the woman behind the counter slowly step backwards with her hands over her head. When Tyrone Lee walks away from the counter the woman is seen retrieving a hidden handgun. When Tyrone returns the woman shoots him once and then two times more, sending the man fleeing.
During this process the daughter accesses a second handgun while calling 911. Tyrone return only moments later apparently unphased from the first three shots. Tyrone Lee aggressively pistol-whipped the owner with her own handgun which he had wrestled away from her. The daughter was then forced to shoot the crook Point Blank Range, sending him stumbling around grasping for balance as his strength left his miserable body.
He eventually showed at a nearby hospital in critical condition and is also believed to be connected to 10 other robberies. Justin Christen, the owner’s son, told K.T.U.L. that the store has signs that inform patrons that they have firearms and know how to use them. He went on to say that his sister and mother “fought for their lives” and with out the handgun things may have turned out differently. He also is quoted as saying “we’re not going to be victims”.
The pistol whipped woman required Staples for her wound but otherwise is doing fine. We love a story with an ending that rings with freedom. God bless the Christens.
