There are many great reasons to raise your own pigs and homesteaders often look to pigs as livestock as choice. Keeping pigs is relatively easy. They do not take up a lot of space and contrarily to popular belief they simply do not have to smell bad. The big question is “how much does it cost to raise a pig”?
