A terrible crime that not only shocks a community but makes a great case for not allowing anybody with a penis into a women’s restroom or changing room.
33-year-old Reese M. Hartstirn strangled an 8-year-old girl while in the ladies restroom until she was no longer conscious and then drug her into the nearest stall to molest her sources say. Can we thank god there was a witness who called for help? Good folks surrounded this thing and held him down until the police arrived to take over.
This poor girl went through a traumatic experience and may never be able to look at a public restroom (something we all take for granted) the same way again. Could this have been prevented simply by enforcing the biological guidelines we are all born with?
Should we continue to allow men into women’s restrooms? Good job Chicago. This poor girl could have been raped or worse if no one was nearby!
According to Chicago?s ABC affiliate, police arrested Reese M. Hartstirn, 33, after witnesses said he was seen choking the child until she was unconscious, then carrying her into a stall in the bathroom of a store on South Canal Street. Witnesses told police that after the suspect was seen attacking the girl, the child’s mother and several of the patrons and workers of the store gathered together to restrain the man until police arrived. The child’s mother also testified that Hartstirn attacked her when she tried to separate him from the child. Hartstirn was later charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery of a child, both felonies. The suspect will also face several misdemeanor charges, as well as charges of attacking one of the police officers who took him into custody at the Central District station.
This has nothing to do with being prejudiced and everything to do with keeping people with mental health issues at bay. We are not worried about transgender so much as sick individuals using this as a guise to commit their crimes.
Enough is enough. We do not want our women changing or using the bathroom with people born of the opposite gender.
