“Our ICE agents, who are amazing men and women, are incredible. They’re a cross-section of Americans, doing their job, the job that Congress wrote the laws for them to support and uphold, and they’re doing the job of deporting people who are here illegally.”
Cain is unafraid of controversy. He has often spoken about the treatment of officers in the media and politics:
“These men and women who are doing their jobs are getting vilified. I had to stand up with them and for them because I think it takes people standing up to change the culture.”

“What does allowing 20 million people into this country illegally do to voting, to our services, our health support services, our social services? It destroys it. As compassionate as we wanna be, we can’t take in everybody.”
He has called for a more merit-based system that protects citizens and rewards those who bring value to the country. Praising some recent changes, he explained,
“I think merit is a huge part of it. What do you bring to the United States? How do you make this country better? What are you going to bring? What are you going to do?”
Leading by Example
Cain is not just talking—he is taking action. He encourages others to follow his lead and consider a career in law enforcement, stating,
“If you want to help save America, ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America’s streets. I like that. I voted for that.”
His move comes as ICE seeks to hire thousands of new agents, expanding the force in a time of heightened debate and scrutiny.
