America’s Broken Borders Put Lives at Risk
It is happening again. America’s broken borders have let another dangerous criminal slip through, and this time the warning signs were written in blood. How much longer must we tolerate a system that welcomes convicted killers back into our neighborhoods?
Repeat Offender, Repeat Failure
In April 2007, Juan Crisantos Ramos, a forty-six year old Mexican national, was arrested in Nogales, Arizona after illegally re-entering the United States. This was not his first crime. Crisantos Ramos was previously convicted of second degree murder and burglary in New Jersey. After serving his prison sentence, he was deported as the law requires. Instead of staying away, he crossed back into our country, ignoring our laws and disrespecting the safety of every American family.
This is not some harmless border crosser looking for work. This is a convicted murderer who proved that deportation is just a speed bump when politicians refuse to secure our borders. While everyday Americans lock their doors at night, our government leaves the back door wide open for predators to return.
Where Are Our Leaders?
What does it say about America’s priorities when a man like Crisantos Ramos is able to walk right back in after being deported for murder? Why are politicians and bureaucrats more interested in appeasing activists than defending law-abiding citizens? Too many families pay the price while elected officials play political games.
Families across the country have every right to be angry and afraid. This is not just a paperwork mistake, it is a direct attack on the safety and security of our communities. Until our leaders put border security and the lives of Americans above politics, these tragedies will keep happening.
Real Accountability is Needed
According to the Arizona Daily Star, Crisantos Ramos was arrested by Border Patrol after trying to sneak in again. His criminal record includes murder and burglary. How many other dangerous criminals are slipping through the cracks right now?
Final Thought
Every citizen deserves to feel safe in their own country. It is time to demand accountability, real immigration enforcement, and leaders who finally put Americans first.
