AUSTRALIA – A massive huntsman spider was seen munching on a large pygmy possum inside a vacation lodge in Mount Field, Tasmania, on June 15.

A local man by the name of Adam found the scene when he was making repairs to the lodge and decided to snap these wonderful photos of the phenomenon. Yahoo news of Australia tells us that Justine Latton said her husband was completely shocked. “My husband’s an ecologist so he takes photos of interesting stuff like that whenever he sees it, and he was blown away,” she reportedly said. The spider and its prey were relocated out of the lodge.
