Medical Damage and Mental Collapse
By 25, Miles was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and hypothyroidism. These health issues are strongly linked to years of hormone use. His physical and mental health were deteriorating. He was exhausted, unstable, and disconnected from reality.
“I was really crazy on the hormones,” he said. “Mentally unstable. Cognitively impaired. Generally tired and weak in ways I didn’t even understand until I stopped.”
When he began detransitioning, he realized just how little the medical system cared.
“I’ve asked multiple doctors for advice. They don’t know what to do. They just say, ask someone else. At a certain point, how many other people can I ask before I just figure it out on my own?”
The same doctors who rushed to medicate him as a teenager disappeared when he needed real help.
From Gender Confusion to Truth and Faith
Miles moved to California to start over. He quit estrogen and began reconnecting with his Catholic faith. He started a band called Pariah the Doll and a clothing line called Eunuch for the Kingdom. He is trying to figure out how to live as a man after ten years of living as a false woman.
“Having spent 10 years in the female role, I don’t really know how to be a man. That’s a scary jump for me.”
Still, he holds no hatred in his heart. He does not even blame his mother who trusted the medical professionals. But he sees through the system now.
“Hospitals make a lot of money from these procedures. They benefit from having lifelong patients. You need the hormones to maintain the identity.”
A Warning to Parents Everywhere
Miles is now suing the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for medical malpractice. He is standing up not just for himself, but for the growing number of young people like him who were railroaded into transition before they understood what was happening.
These clinics are not affirming anything. They are grooming children into sterilization and lifelong dependency for profit. And the damage is irreversible.
He doesn’t even know if he is sterile for life. But he knows the normal things that bring meaning to life are now distant for him. Marriage. Fatherhood. Stability. Family. These are things that may never be available to him again.
“I’m sterilizing myself. I can’t do the normal things that bring normal people meaning.”
America Is Waking Up
Other countries have already started banning these destructive practices. The United Kingdom. Sweden. Norway. Finland. Denmark. Now under President Trump’s second term, the United States is following suit. The Supreme Court has upheld bans on so-called gender affirming care for minors. More than 20 gender clinics and doctors are under investigation. Even the largest youth gender clinic in Los Angeles shut down.
It is happening because brave people like Miles Yardley are telling the truth.
Let Boys Be Boys
“If you’re a gender-nonconforming kid, you should be allowed to be yourself. That was the biggest problem. I didn’t feel like I could be confident in who I was. And if that person happens to like singing and dancing and Barbie dolls, who really cares? You can be a boy who likes that.”
Nobody ever told him that. They told him to become something else. Something false. Something broken.
It is time to tell children the truth again. You are not born in the wrong body. You are being lied to by people who get rich when you believe that lie.
